Water pressure problems solved

We have been having intermittent water pressure problems and had resorting to using the tank but it ran out today. We had friends over for dinner and the water lasted a few minutes and then died after about a minute or so. I checked the water pressure at the park spigot and it was fine, went back inside and same thing, good water pressure for a minute at most and then it died to a trickle. (made taking a shower last night lots of fun). So a friend of mine and I went out to diagnose the problem. As I was heading back to the spigot I glanced between the drive and tag tires and there it was - the hose was under the hydraulic jack pad!!! I was elated at finding the problem but was really blown away by two facts: 1) the water was getting through the hose with 30,000 lbs sitting on top of it 2) the hose was not destroyed when I lifted the jacks... amazing.
Moral of the story - don't toss the excess hose under the bus until the jacks are DOWN...

Living life in Joliet, Illinois

We have been here for about three weeks now and had no idea how beautiful the rolling cornfields and pasture land could be!  This place is gorgeous and the people are very friendly.  We are staying at the Sunset Lakes Resort and although it is a little further away from town (any town) the peace and quiet make up for any driving we have to do to get to the store and restaurants.  The owners of the park have been great and really bent over backwards to get us a good internet connection so I could get work done without spending a fortune in data charges to Verizon.
We ordered 4 air bags for the drive wheels and 2 for tags, the tag bags were really pretty shot and needed to be replaced.  The drive bags look ok by but are definitely original so we are going to replace them anyway.  Found a good shop down the road from us and had them change the tag bags.  Found out that I had ordered the incorrect bags for the drive axles so had to reorder and will ship them back next week.  SDTruckSprings.com was great to deal with and I learned a lesson about not trusting what others say the part numbers should be based on the coach they own - I was too lazy to look up the numbers in the Bluebird Black box and it cost me $100 in shipping...
